In and Around Cambridge in the 1960s

Richard Gaunt was already a keen photographer when he went to study Natural Sciences at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge in 1966. His black-and-white images, taken with an early SLR, capture not only misty views of the Backs and crews rowing on the Cam, but student protests, changing fashions in clothes and automobiles, the grittier industrial side of the town, and the appearance of the first steel and glass buildings.
